About Photos By Robinson

The artist behind the picture:

Bill Robinson – Fine Art Photographer

My name is William L. Robinson Sr. (Bill). I am from Chickamauga, Ga. I come from a Southern Baptist background.

My father was a Southern Baptist Preacher and a Missionary. We spent over 3 years in Taiwan. While we were there my father had a 35mm camera that he used to take Pictures with. He would have them processed into slides and send them home to the family.

He would use some of the Pictures in his Mission studies and in Home Mission services.

I can still remember sitting around looking at the Slides. My father is gone now, but I can remember the pictures that he took and the experience that he had taking his pictures.

I have started taking on the vision of my father and photographing my ventures in life. I started taking photos of Family, Landmarks, Nature, and Historical sites.

I am always looking for new places to photograph and to advance my skills. I'm a self taught photographer. I haven’t had any former schooling in photography. I started with a Cannon Rebel XTi SLR camera. I have been working with it for about 3 years and learning more each time I use it.

With a little encouragement from my wife and my family I started selling my photography to the public, by participating in the Art and Craft festivals in my area.

To my surprise people enjoy my work. I have a lot of people who come back looking for new prints.

I enjoy showing and selling my work. My goal is to some day be able to have my own Gallery and sell my work to the world.

I hope that I can open the world of photography to art lovers of all kind. I want to share my vision of how I see things around me and photograph for all to see. Maybe you will find one for your home or office.

Thank you for your support.
